So there are instances of surprise rain that follow unless you have brought an umbrella for your savings. 

Tidal beginnings

The tidal range inside this beach stays between 8m and 12m vertical. This means that this tidal difference impacts the beach at a huge level. So if you are surfboarding, you need to be a pro at it since that’s the only way you can survive such heavy tides 

The recent forecast has revealed that a high tide occurrence comes every 14th hour. The beach staff present there are extremely valuable. They have signs that the high tide is going to take place. So before surfboarding, you will always get a heads up. 

Wind effect/summer 

The wind has a direct effect on the beach wave. So that means the stronger the wind, you will have larger waves. As they reach the shore the wavelength decreases, which means shorter waves at the shore and big waves in the middle. 

When the beach reaches the shore it becomes shoaling waves. This means as soon as the waves break at the shore, the sediments are delivered onshore, but that’s not the whole story, the sand is moved by the wind, and that’s how the wind changes continuously.

Winter effect 

The winter brings strong winds, which means strong powerful waves. So all the hard work done during summer which brings sands inside the water now gets deposited in the shore known as the undertow. 

Changes are important 

When the weather changes, that means that there is sediment loss and there is sediment gain. This phenomenon is known as the dynamic gain.  So in Myrtle Beach, the interaction between tides, waves, and wind are some of the factors that affect the beach movement.
